August 2 – Touring the Psalms – Part 1

In Morning Worship Pastor Reigle will begin a brief “Tour of the Psalms” that will take us to Psalms 1, 19, 62, 91, 110, 119, and 150. Two of those Psalms dwell on the Word of God, and one is the most quoted Psalm in the New Testament. We will rediscover that Psalms is a most practical book. It’s always been a blessing and a benediction to God’s people as they walk, worship, and work through life. There are no clichés in the Psalms. Instead, they meet us where we are, and they take us by the Holy Spirit where we need to be. The Psalms mirror life as it is presenting us with the whole drama of humanity. Every emotion with which God has created us can be found and addressed by the Psalm writers.

Pastor Reigle’s first message in this series will cover Psalms 1 and 150 and will guide us in answering these questions:
