June 24 – On Holy Ground … the Gospel of John – Part 15

June 20th, 2012 by admin

We continue our study of the Gospel of John in Morning Worship as Pastor Reigle preaches a sermon titled “Scripture’s Most Profound Statement.”  This message is based on John 4:1-26.  Pastor Reigle will guide us in answering these questions:
— Despite the differences between Nicodemus and the woman at the well, what was their common need?
— Why was it unusual that Jesus spoke to the Samaritan woman?
— Why did Jesus expose her private, sordid lifestyle?
— What is it that Jesus seeks above all else from His followers?
— What does it mean to “worship in spirit”?
— What does it mean to “worship in truth”?
— For the Apostle John and us, what does this woman become?
