September 23 – Mini-Missions Conference
September 17th, 2012Our Morning Worship will depart from its usual format and become what we have deemed a “Mini-Missions Conference.” We will be joined by Dan Dixon, Gloria Smethers, and Lamar, Janice, Alyssa, & Donovan Stoltzfus. They are representatives from Rift Valley Academy, a Christian boarding school in Kijabe, Kenya.
Rift Valley Academy provides a quality education for the children of missionaries serving in Africa. The cornerstone for Kiambogo, the main school building that remains the centerpiece of the campus, was laid in 1905 by U.S. President Theodore Roosevelt. Today about 500 students are enrolled, from kindergarten through grade 12.
Also joining us will be Randy & Carla Sizemore from the Global Ministries Commission of the Evangelical Congregational Church.
