In Morning Worship Pastor Reigle will present the next in his series of messages from the book of Habakkuk. The sermon is based on Habakkuk 2:4-8 and is titled “The Plight of the Prideful.” We will consider these questions:
— What is at the root of the sins Habakkuk attributes to Babylon in verses 4-8?
— How did Babylon’s judgment come about?
— What is God’s view of pride?
— What does pride do to a person?
— What does “woe” mean in Scripture?
— How is biblical success defined?
— What do we need to do when difficult times come (as Habakkuk and Judah faced)?
