August 31 – The Sermon on the Mount – Part 5

August 28th, 2014 by admin

In Morning Worship Pastor Reigle will focus on Matthew 5:1-2 as he continues his commentary on the Sermon on the Mount. He will guide us in answering these questions:
— In his classic book The Cost of Discipleship, Dietrich Bonhoeffer writes that Jesus’ disciples followed Him because they knew His voice. How do we “know His voice” today?
— What is it that followers of Christ need to do today more than ever?
— In what ways is the Sermon on the Mount misinterpreted?
— What is its biblical interpretation?
— In the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus challenges His followers to “go all in and all out for the All in All”… because Christ is our All in All. Is He that to you?
