It’s been referred to as “the book that helps us believe.” It’s been said that it was penned to “inspire faith,” to “persuade people to believe in Jesus,” “so that people would believe that Jesus is the Son of God, and that by believing, they might have life in His name.”
The gospel of John, the fourth gospel, is considered a “primer,” a book containing the basics of Christianity. Jesus Christ, God’s Son, is clearly and preeminently presented as deity.
