Our Purpose is to provide opportunities for public worship of God, evangelism, Christian education, and fellowship.
Our Mission is to uphold a biblically-based ministry that promotes worship, fellowship, Christ-like character development, and teaching and evangelism opportunities so we may know Him and make Him known throughout our community and the world.
Christ Church of Allentown was birthed in 2007 by the merger of Grace Worship Center of Whitehall and Boulevard Evangelical Congregational Church of Allentown. Utilizing the facilities of the former Boulevard Church, Christ Church endeavors to “know Christ and make Him known.”
Our Pastor, Rev. Thad Hughes was born in Philadelphia, PA but grew up in the Boyertown area. After graduating from Salem Christian High school he got his undergraduate degree from Albright College, in Criminal Justice. Come back for an Update….
