October 27 — An Example of Faith

If someone asked us to give a definition of faith, how would we respond? Some might quote Hebrews 11: 1: “Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see”. A good reply. But Hebrews also gives real life examples of faith in action. What characterizes a person who lives Hebrews 11:1? All are invited to join us for worship. The text is Joshua 14:6-14. The sermon is “An Example of Faith”. The man Caleb is our example and teacher. W.A. Criswell called him Mr. Great Heart. Join us and learn how to live by faith.
