Pastor Reigle’s message in Morning Worship is a continuation of a look into the first three verses of Matthew 5. He will address these questions:
— What essential doctrine of Scripture is under attack today?
— Why is Matthew 5-7 called the “Sermon on the Mount”?
— Because this first of five discourses of Jesus that Matthew records is so often misunderstood, it is listed among “Paradoxes of the Christian Faith/Life.” How can “paradox” be defined?
–What is the “Paradox Principle” as defined by Kirk Nowery and Dave Sutherland in their book by that title?
— To what do these paradoxes that Jesus teaches from the Beatitudes in particular call us?
— Are you doing so?
