November 17 — Serve the Lord

Please join us for worship. We conclude the sermon series on the book of Joshua. The text is 24:1-28. The sermon is “Serve the Lord”. As an old man approaching death Joshua challenges the people of Israel to serve the Lord. Joshua utters one of the most cherished and memorized statements: “But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord” (24:15). In the chapter we may identify five applications to enrich our service to God. We encourage reading Psalm 98 to prepare for worship and prayer.
