Our Purpose is to provide opportunities for public worship of God, evangelism, Christian education, and fellowship.
Our Mission is to uphold a biblically-based ministry that promotes worship, fellowship, Christ-like character development, and teaching and evangelism opportunities so we may know Him and make Him known throughout our community and the world.
Christ Church of Allentown was birthed in 2007 by the merger of Grace Worship Center of Whitehall and Boulevard Evangelical Congregational Church of Allentown. Utilizing the facilities of the former Boulevard Church, Christ Church endeavors to “know Christ and make Him known.”
Our Pastor, Rev. Richard Reigle, came to Christ Church in July 2007. He was born and raised in Dixon, Illinois, and is a 1970 graduate of Trinity College, Deerfield, Illinois. He previously served four other Evangelical Congregational churches in Ohio and Illinois. His wife Becky was born and raised in Johnstown, Pennsylvania and is a 1973 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh. The Reigles have two grown sons, Mark and Tim. Mark and his wife Kara reside in Mayfield Heights, Ohio. Tim and his wife Ashley live in Allentown with their daughters Lorelei and Addison.
