March 8 – Illustrating the Beatitudes – Part 1

In Morning Worship Pastor Reigle will resume his series of messages from the Sermon on the Mount. His message is titled “Illustrating the Beatitudes – Part 1” and is based on Matthew 5:1-12. Pastor Reigle will guide us in answering these questions:
— Of what can it be said that the Beatitudes are a checklist?
— What does the first Beatitude address?
— What spiritual quality does the second Beatitude address?
— How can the third Beatitude, “Blessed are the meek,” be described?
— What does it mean to hunger and thirst for righteousness (the fourth Beatitude)?
— Ultimately, who is the only One who can satisfy the soul?
— Can that be said of you?
