December 29 — Christmas Affirmations

As we complete our Advent celebrations and prepare for 2020, we continue a Christmas theme. The Scripture reading is Revelation 1:1-8. The sermon is “Christmas Affirmations”. Verse 5 describes Jesus as “the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead and the ruler of the kings of the earth”. From this description we may make three affirmations about Jesus Christ. We encourage reading Psalm 148 to prepare for worship and prayer.
