Christ Church is committed to biblical teaching and preaching. This commitment is reflected in our Sunday morning service that includes worship of our Lord through song, prayer, and reflection on His Word. Sunday Morning Worship is held each week and starts at 11:00 AM.
Church is made for family, bring your family! Nursery is available. Youth join their family for the start of the service but head to Jr. Church for a time created just for them! Biblically based lessons involving a variety of formats such as video, stories, acting, games, building, crafts are presented to elementary-aged children during the Sunday Morning Worship service.
Sunday School classes are available at Christ Church for adults. This class promote commitments to studying, memorizing, and applying God’s Word in our daily lives. Sunday School starts each Sunday at 9:45 AM.
A Joint Bible Study is led via zoom log in via computer or call in via phone. This is a time of connection, prayer and study. This provides a good opportunity for discussion digger deeper into God’s Word and exploring questions. If you are interesting in joining this study, reach out to the church office for the link.
Christ Church is ministering in our community and around the world through an ambitious missions ministry that represents 15% of our budget. We provide financial and prayer support for missionaries in the United States and abroad. We fill stockings with gifts for a Philadelphia inner-city ministry, fill shoeboxes with gifts for Operation Christmas Child, collect items of clothing for the Allentown Rescue Mission, and hold an annual “baby shower” to gather supplies for Care Net Pregnancy Centers of the Lehigh Valley.
The men of Christ Church meet for dinner and fellowship on the first Monday of each month at the Hamilton Family Restaurant in Allentown. The meetings include a short message from God’s Word and a prayer time. Starting time is 5:30 PM.
The women of Christ Church meet for dinner and fellowship on the first Tuesday of each month at the Parkland Restaurant in Allentown. The attendees support a card ministry for those who might appreciate a word of encouragement. Starting time is 5:30 PM.
Events are scheduled throughout the year to help us connect, love, and support our community. This is a great time to get to know others and get to show God’s Love to our great town of Allentown!
