Arizona Christian University and George Barna created a stir last week. They reported America has approximately 176 million Christians, and a majority of born-again Christians do not believe the Holy Spirit is a “real, living Being” but a symbol of God’s power. This contradicts the Bible and the creeds. and demonstrates a majority of born-again Christians are Biblically illiterate. Hence the October 10th Scripture reading is Romans 8:5-17. The sermon is “We Believe in the Holy Spirit”. You may read Psalm 22:1-19 to prepare for worship and prayer. The service begins at 10:30 AM.
